Role: Data Architect with Databricks exp.

Location: Collegeville, PA - Onsite

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with strong experience in Databricks to design, implement, and optimize enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data architectures, enabling advanced analytics, and ensuring data quality and governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern data architectures using Databricks and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Build scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analytics.

• Define data models, schemas, and integration strategies for structured and unstructured data.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

• Optimize performance of big data workloads and ensure reliability of data systems.

• Provide technical leadership and mentor data engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture.

• Strong expertise in Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake.

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL frameworks.

• Experience with cloud data services (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery).

• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning pipelines in Databricks.

• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

• Certification in Databricks or cloud platforms.
